I have this exact bag. This packable bag takes up very little room and unpacks to a lightweight 18L backpack. It is great for use as a daypack, for the beach or as a backup.
That makes it particularly useful for cruises, shore excursions and other trips where you may want an extra backpack without dedicating much suitcase space to a traditional daypack.

Good for Lightweight Travel Gear
The Blackpongo is a lightweight, minimally structured backpack. It works best for relatively light items such as sunscreen, a water bottle, travel documents, a light jacket and other daily essentials.
Because the bag has very little padding or structure, hard and oddly shaped items may press against your back. It would not be my first choice for carrying heavy loads over long distances, but that is not really its intended purpose.
Its main advantage is convenience. You can keep it packed inside your luggage and pull it out when you need an extra bag for sightseeing, the beach, the pool or a shore excursion.
