This large version has a lot of the same features, but with more packing capacity for longer trips, family travel, extended cruises or anyone who wants one larger checked suitcase.

The big thing that stands out here is the weight. Large checked bags can get heavy before you even pack them. This one is listed at just 5.95 lbs, which is very light for a large softside suitcase.

Why the Large Soft Stripe Caught My Attention
After using the medium Soft Stripe, the large version makes a lot of sense. It keeps the same general softside design, expandable packing space, spinner wheels, adjustable handle, TSA-approved lock and lightweight construction, but gives you quite a bit more room.
For cruise travel, that can be a real advantage. Longer cruises, colder-weather itineraries, European trips, formal nights, extra shoes, packing cubes, jackets, toiletries and pre-cruise hotel stays can all add bulk quickly.

Medium vs Large Soft Stripe
The medium Soft Stripe is a great in-between checked bag. That is the version I have and really like. It gives you more room than a carry-on without automatically jumping to a huge checked suitcase.
The large version is the next step up. It is the one I would look at for longer cruises, heavier packers, family trips, cold-weather travel or anyone who wants one larger checked suitcase instead of trying to squeeze everything into a smaller bag.
